Forever Safe Kitty Cat Sanctuary is devoted to rescuing and caring for at-risk cats across Topeka and its surroundings.
Humane Trapping
Feral and stray cats may be humanely trapped so they can receive veterinary care and be safely evaluated.
Spay & Neuter
Cats brought into our care receive spay or neuter services to help prevent unwanted litters.
Wellness & Veterinary Care
We work to make sure rescued cats receive appropriate wellness evaluations and necessary care before entering the sanctuary.
Adoption Preparation
Cats who are comfortable living with people and ready for a permanent home can be prepared for adoption.
Lifelong Sanctuary
Cats who remain with us will always have a secure place where they can receive food, shelter, attention, and ongoing care.

Some cats arrive frightened and unsure of people. Others have been abandoned or have spent much of their lives outdoors. Our goal is to provide them with the time, care, and stability they need without placing unnecessary pressure on them.

Why Our Work Matters
Homeless and feral cats face many challenges, including hunger, illness, injury, harsh weather, and uncontrolled breeding.
By combining rescue, humane trapping, spay and neuter services, veterinary care, adoption efforts, and lifelong sanctuary, we hope to improve the lives of individual cats while also helping reduce the number of homeless cats in our community.
